Gold Coins (GC) are the coins you use for social play on Goated.us. They are for fun only. They have no cash value and cannot be redeemed for prizes.
How do I get Gold Coins?
Welcome gift: You get 25,000 GC (plus 1 free Sweeps Coin) once you verify your email, accept our Terms of Service and verify your phone number. You verify your phone number as part of Level 1 identity verification in your account settings.
Daily Bonus: Claim free GC once a day from your wallet. The more days in a row you claim, the bigger it gets, up to 25,000 GC a day. See the table below.
Gold Coin packages: You can buy GC packages from $5 to $1,000. Every $1 gives you 10,000 GC, and each package might come with free Sweeps Coins.
Promotions: We sometimes give out GC through races, giveaways and other promotions.

What can I use Gold Coins for?
You can play any game on Goated.us with Gold Coins. Gold Coin play also counts toward your VIP progress, but at a lower rate than Sweeps Coin play.
Can I redeem or exchange Gold Coins?
No. Gold Coins cannot be redeemed for prizes or cash. They cannot be turned into Sweeps Coins, and they cannot be sent to other players. Gold Coin purchases are final and cannot be refunded.
If you want to play for prizes, use Sweeps Coins instead. See our Sweeps Coins article to learn more.
